BACKGROUND & AIMS
International Workshop on Uncertain Systems
and Soft Computing is the ninth in a series of conferrences,
known as the Bellman Continuum, dedicated to the memory of
Professor Richard Bellman for his pioneering work in pure
and applied mathematics to science, engineering, economics
and medicine, and for his long-last influence on students
and researchers throughout the world.
The conference will feature plenary addresses by: L.A. Zadeh,
G. Leitmann, A.O. Esogbue, S.C. Fang, and J. Kacprzyk etc.
Relevant topics may include, but not limited to
- Dynamic Programming, Neuro-dynamic Programming.
- Dynamical Systems Modeling and Computations.
- Multiobjective Programming, and Multilevel Programming.
- Stochastic Programming, Fuzzy Programming, Uncertain Programming.
- Large-Scale Optimization, Network Optimization.
- Fuzzy Systems, Neural networks, Genetic Algorithm, Soft Computing.
- Applications of Mathematical Models to Medical and Health Care Delivery

CONTRIBUTED PAPERS
Authors who wish to contribute papers are requested to submit
an extended abstract of not more than 200 words by e-mail
or air mail by April 20, 2002. Papers reporting original
and unpublished research results and experience are solicited.
Final manuscripts (incluiding a digital version,
LaTex and Word are preferred) should be submitted to
the workshop secretary given bellow by May 1, 2002.
Following past tradition, papers presented at
the workshop will be reviewed and published as special
issues of Computers & Mathematics with Applications.

REGISTRATION FEE
All registration fee includes a copy of the conference proceedings, welcome reception, conference banquet and all teas/coffees.
- Early Registration Fee before May 1, 2002, US$260.
- Late or On Site Registration Fee, US$300.
- Student Registration Fee, US$150.
