The International Association for Information and Management Sciences (IMS) was founded on July 10, 2005.
After several years' development, the IMS has 35 board members at present.
In order to push the development and applications of information and management sciences
in business, engineering, economics, medicine and other related disciplines and to foster the international collaborations among
scholars in the related areas, an annual conference of IMS is also held every year from 2002.
Because of the contributions for academic exchanges, the proceedings of the annual conference of IMS are indexed by ISTP.
Furthermore, the best papers award includes the best paper award for students and that for no-students is established to reward
those who has obtained excellent achievements in the scientific research in the past years.
