Uncertainty Theory Laboratory (UTLab), founded in 1998 by Professor Baoding Liu, is a research group devoted to exploring the mathematical foundation of uncertainty. UTLab members focus their research efforts on uncertainty theory, uncertain programming, uncertain process, uncertain calculus, uncertain differential equation, and uncertain logic. Primary sponsors of the research in UTLab include Tsinghua University, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science and Technology, and National Natural Science Foundation of China.
